Since then, a number of species have beenadded to the Camargue list. This paper deals with records of 66 species, and includes the steppe of Crau and the mountains of Alpilles. Some of these species are new for France (e g Sooty Falcon and Black faced Bunting) or result from recent splits (e g Balearic Shea mater and Taïga Flycatcher) Furthermore, some of these 66 species (e g Sacred Ibis and Lappet faced Vulture) had not been taken into account.
